Long running manga Bleach is apparently getting ready to say goodbye. After a two week hiatus the latest chapter in the Bleach manga chapter 480 hits stating that the final story arc has begun. It’s going to be called The Final Holy War.
To be honest I’m surprised that Bleach ran another full arc after the Eizen arc. I mean where else could Ichigo go? His strength was to the point of Goku. I mean you can only keep getting so much stronger right? With the loss and now regaining of his powers the final story of Ichigo is under way. Whether the series remains closed or is opened back up due to fan request is unknown. As a manga and anime I have greatly enjoyed the Bleach universe. Of course like most I could do without some of the filler arcs in the anime, but unlike others they did a fairly good job of making the fillers feel more than just filler. With full independent story arcs Bleach has been a step up to what has been done with other series. Yes I am talking about Naruto. While I love that one as well, the fillers were mostly just too stupid.
So long Bleach we shall read and enjoy your swan song, may the curtain close on a glorious finale.
