Already being a Verizon customer who has been eligible for upgrade for the past 12+ months, I have been bombarded with emails from Verizon trying to get me to sign a new contract. As I am sure the world knows, Verizon has finally gotten an IPhone which was made available a couple days early to existing customers and then just recently today made available to everyone else.
Being a big guy who wears XL gloves I currently refuse to pay for a touch only device. Everyone speaks of how they love capacitive touch screens but I think I may be in the minority. To make precise touches I regularly use the tip of my fingernail and fingernails do not conduct electricity, so I sorta need a resistive screen.
Ranting aside; I plan to wait and see what details about the Iphone 5 are released in coming the months. I could be swayed in the future.
However my dream devices, which I may not see anytime soon, would be a Sprint Samsung Epic 4G on Verizon or LG taking the enV Touch and upping the screens sizes, using Android Honeycomb, and either of the new multi-core mobile processors coming soon. A man can dream; can’t he?
