Announced today is the next installment of Ace Combat. Dubbed ASSAULT HORIZON.
Ace Combat fans rejoice for we will be flying the unfriendly skies once again. Coming out on PS3 and 360 sometime next year not much has been released on this title yet. Other than multi console release and the official trailer.
But what can be gleaned from the trailer is this. No longer set in a fictional world, we will be flying over real world cities. With QTE’s inserted for fun. With what looks like the chance to fly choppers and be gunners.
As a long time Ace Combat fan (since Air Combat on PS1. I still even have my PS1 and PS2 flight sticks) I am ecstatic to see this series come back to the PS3. No word yet on flight stick bundles. But this is NAMCO we’re talking about. So I’m sure we’ll hear something real expensive soon.
