Gawker Media reporter Jason Chen is being investigated for paying $5000 dollars for stolen merchandise (Prototype Ipod). Check out the CNN video below for more information.
His home has already been invaded and computers seized for the investigation.
I wonder if Gawker Media will be held liable for Chen’s actions? If so, I wonder what that means for gaming blog Kotaku and all the other Gawker sister sites. Remember kiddies, ” Do not buy stolen goods and then post about it on the web.” You never know who’s watching, could be the owner of said stolen goods.
