Fruits of Disney’s Purchase: Marvel vs Capcom 3

Thanks to Disney’s  purchase of Marvel we finally get to see some contract re-negotiations, which thankfully allowed a contract to come back to Capcom.  Marvel vs Capcom 3 is coming and looking great.  No game play footage but to me that Shinku Hadoken looked like an HD version of the Wii Tatsunoku vs Capcom attack animation of the same name.  Capcom did say they loved that engine and that it might become a basis for many fighting games to come.

Marvel VS Capcom Definitely appears to be using the Tatsunoku vs Capcom engine.  Go to time stamp 1:11 on the MVC3 video and time stamp 0:28 on the second video embeded below and compare the Ryu Shinku Hadoken animations.
