		<description>Gears was good for the time. It was new to a lot of people (I&#039;d never played Resident Evil). Gears 2 wasn&#039;t as good, because they messed up matchmaking. Also, it was more of the same.

As for the chainsaw, until a friend told me that first you push &#039;B&#039; for melee, and then pull the right trigger...I had all kinds of problems. The right trigger revs the chainsaw, which also seems to help &quot;aim&quot; it too. It&#039;s still kind of weird, but I had no idea you had to rev the chainsaw, so only like 1/4 of my attempts made it.

I liked Gears a lot, in it&#039;s day. I did grow tired of it though, but it was fun while it lasted.</description>
