Lips Get New Hits

Kanye West: Lips

Lips, the motion sensitive wireless microphone karaoke game for XBOX 360, has just announced its second title, which includes a slew of popular artists. Lips: The Number One Hits, is slated for release in October and includes many top hits from around the music world. This latest iteration looks to extend it’s library by offering tracks from Kanye West, Mariah Carey, and even 2Pac. Developed by iNiS and published by Microsoft Game Studios, Lips does what I so desperately would like Rock Band or Guitar Hero to do with its music library… provide music that I actually give a crap about. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some rock tracks, but the whole notion of having ‘Popular’ music is a huge void that is waiting to be filled. If the Lips franchise ever manages to add instruments, I feel that it will quickly take a stake in the market. In any case, here is the full track list. Click through for the full press release:

    Sergio Lugo II:

I’m almost embarrassed to say that I really liked the first lips and I’ll probably be grabbing the sequel as well.
