On May 1st, Capcom Japan announced Street Fighter IV PC will see a Japanese release date of July 2, 2009 with a worldwide release not far behind. According to Gamespot the game “will include three additional graphic filters to make the game look more like its original stylized trailers”. Even the notion of a PC release is undoubtedly due to the high popularity of its release on the PS3 and Xbox 360 earlier this year. I would hope they would make the game cross platform with Xbox 360 Live users since it’s a Windows Live title, but I’m not holding my breath. Obviously this is a good move for Capcom to reach out to the PC centric gamers. Now I finally can put that PC controller to good use!
