The new Amazon Kindle is here, Kindle DX, which offers a screen that is two and a half times the size of the original Kindle, holds up to 2,000 more books, and reads PDF files natively. Amazon looks to be aimed at magazines, newspapers and maybe more importantly textbooks! No more hauling those huge textbooks around campus! We will have to wait and see how well this device is received among the masses, but looks promising. Oh, it costs $489.00… ouch.
